Musicale

  • Gill and David Johnston have masterminded Musicale Holidays since its beginning in 1977. Their passion is to involve children in meaningful and, above all, enjoyable music making. Many of their staff grew up attending a summer Musicale, and now they are passing on their enthusiasm to the next generation of young musicians. Summer camp dates yet to be confirmed for summer 2016 at St. Catherine’s school but more information can be found on http://www.musicale.co.uk/

RESIDENTIAL COURSES

European Youth Summer Camp

  • EYSM's aims are to inspire young people and to create a lifelong love of music and a desire to share music with others. This is achieved by offering a wide range of opportunities across musical genres, where young people work with professional musicians they would not meet in any other way and by creating a series of musical performances.
  • Information for our 2016 Summer camp is yet to be released but please keep an eye on this page or visit http://www.eysm.org/about-us/

Film Academy

National Orchestra

  • The National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain provides young people with a world-class foundation for orchestral performance and musicianship. We bring together hundreds of 7-13 year olds from across the country and offer them a life-changing experience – meeting like-minded people and being guided by top professional musicians. As well as creating a safe, stimulating environment in which to explore and enhance their skills and passions, our friendly residential courses also help to broaden the social development of our young musicians.
  • Established in 1978, the NCO has gone from strength to strength, building up an international reputation as an outstanding orchestra whose maturity belies the age of its members. The NCO has performed in a wide variety of concert venues, from the Royal Albert Hall in London to the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, and promises audiences an entertaining and uplifting performance.
  • Passionate about music, our musicians aspire to the highest standards. Welcome to the next generation of world-class music professionals.
