Our most recent lecture was held in June when we welcomed Edwardian mystery writer Katherine Woodfine.

  • Her first story ‘The Clockwork Sparrow’ published in 2015 was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’, longlisted for the Branford Boase Award and nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal.
  • She has since then published three more titles in the Sinclair’s Mysteries series, ‘The Jewelled Moth’, ‘The Painted Dragon’ and ‘The Midnight Peacock’ and she has a new book launching in August ‘Peril in Paris’.
